His plan for a border wall makes sense to me also.  Hundreds of thousands crossing our border unchecked.

He better do something about our energy grid. Already we are being asked to limit electricity use drastically from 3-7 pm. It's only June.

I think I heard this somewhere that they were planning on rolling blackouts again for the summer months.

I am so impressed with some of our republican governors and how they have stepped up since the election.

If that happens, he can kiss his next governor's race good bye. If a half way decent Republican runs against him I think he will lose. I know a lot of friends and family have told me they won't vote for him if a respectable Republican runs against him in the primaries.

Sounds like maybe Ercot got their *hit together now, on the San Antonio news this morning they were saying that Texans can now go back to not having to cut back on  electricity (No threats of power shortage) Ercot were saying there was a strain on the power grid because of no wind for the Wind Turbines, but all is ok now. I know in the San Antoino area and surrounding towns they were having power outage. If this is what going green is all about, then we are going to be in a mess, if no wind then the Turbines dont work and no power for most people, that really sucks..

CAISO has also issued a Flex Alert for Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

PG&E shared the following tips for customers to reduce energy use during the day:

  • Pre-cool your home or workspace by lowering your thermostat. Turn it off if you will be away from home.
  • Use a fan instead of air conditioning when possible.
  • Use major appliances, like your dishwasher or washer and dryer, early in the morning
  • Charge your electronic devices before the late afternoon
  • Set your pool pump to run overnight instead of during the day.
  • Keep your refrigerator full (with bottles of water if nothing else) and unplug your second refrigerator if you have one.

During the critical hours of 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., consumers are asked to:

  • Adjust your thermostat to 78 degrees or higher, after coolin

Greg Abbott has really steped up to the plate on this one, hes tired as well as all Texans that the Biden people keep letting this happen, they have no intention ( Biden administration) what so ever to stop the flow of illegals coming across our border, just like Obama he could care less. McAllen is so over whelmed, Ron Desantis is sending law enforcement from his state to help out Texas and Arizona along with Nebraska law enforcement to help with the Crisis that Biden caused for us. Thank you Gov. Ricketts and Gov. Ron Desantis.

FOX news has a handsome young reporter (sigh) on the border watching what's happening in disbelief.  He said this morning that the numbers are accelerating and some of the groups are 150 to 250 strong from every country in the world.  The other day the BP arrested a sleazebag from Peru who was a convicted child rapist.
