| What is a good amino acid to add into a grain free diet? Feeding alfalfa pellets, 1/2lb to 1lb of renew gold sr. But fixing to switch back to the original RG. (I think). 1 horse is on THE performance with a few blends mixed in for respiratory support. Little back story, this gelding is 16 and in excellent condition but always had a nagging cough, upon warming up or just out of the blue sometimes. He had been scoped and gone thru with a fine tooth comb and they couldn't figure out the cough. I'm going to buy a nebulizer as soon as I can but in the meantime I was trying to see if changing feeds would help. He also suffered from allergies. Low n behold... feeding soaked alfalfa pellets, RG and THE with the breather/respiratory support has pretty much eliminated the coughing! They also get free choice giant bermuda kept in front of them 24/7. I am trying to make sure this guy had everything he needs. Workload is daily, he's being patterned on the barrels as he is a tried and true rope horse, a little burned out so my hubby handed him over for me to give him something else to do for a while I may be wrong but I feel like he may be missing amino acids ? Or does THE performance cover that. Sometimes I feel like going back to a complete feed for simplicity but hes done so well grain free and it appears we have the cough under control by removing it. I'm also going to be adding in Forco. He was on outlast when he came to us a few months ago. But I'm trying my best to rid of all "by products, soy and other garbage" I know THE has soy but its non gmo, at least. I'd say roughly 4 to 5lbs of alfalfa pellets a day right now and both horses are maintaining easily on that. I was looking at Tri Amino, Nutri-Amino those are pretty affordable and easy to get. Here's a recent pic of the "old man" Oh, I was using Platinum Performance and really liked it.. it covered all my bases, I think ? But it seemed like it made my horses too hot at shows. My usually laid back gelding was a maniac in the warm up pen and that's so unlike him and this horse was SO EXTRA in the box he'd tremble and quit leaving flat footed .. same with my horse. I didn't refill after my last bucket and they seem to be better more focused and not so jumpy or reactive.

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Look into Uckele Tri Amino. I have been useing Uckele Tri Amino, like it but since Mvp's Mega Cell has Amino acids added to it I'm just going to just use the Mega-Cell so I dont have all these different supplements to add to my horses feed, I'm also going to do away with the Sho glo, I really like that Mega-Cell has pretty much alot of what I'm already feeding so it will be nice just to feed one supplement,

| I've been using THE for over 15 yrs THE is the only thing I will use... I will say that I prefer the Muscle Mass vs the Performance and my guys are already chunky monkeys!! I tried the Performance for my mare, who is a tank, but didn't care for how she looked on it. Switch to the Muscle Mass with your blends and you can see the difference and it covers all of your bases... no need for anything extra!! |

Ok this is what I was wondering! I was told that the performance was for "easy keepers" and that fits the description for both my boys. 1 thing I've definitely taken notice of is the horse I pictured, has been urinating ALOT more since I've had him on the performance. Is he detoxing maybe? I do really love the idea of using all natural sources of vitamins and minerals that's why THE was so appealing to me in the first place. The last thing I want to do is add more supplements to my regime! It's exhausting trying to make sure everything is met. But I can see many positive changes in BOTH my horses going grain free. Physical and mental! My next order will definitely be THE MM with the added breather and cough.. I'm still blown away at how much improvement has come to his respiratory health since switching. Thank you for your input! I also use nutrena empower digestive balance in my feed. But I do plan on going with Forco instead as soon as I am out of the nutrena. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I cant get my horses to eat the THE, so I would suggest to order a small amount to see if they will take to it. I tryed the THE supplements when my gelding had laminitis and he would not touch it, I feed pelleted/dry feed and I guess without the added molasses to mask the taste it tasted horrible/bitter to him. |

| They are eating it just fine.. and it actually surprises me because the buckskin horse is SUPER picky... he refused to eat his food when I was giving him platinum skin & allergy to help with his issues. Flat out refused!! No matter what I tried. He doesn't seem to mind THE at all. So far! But in his defense the platinum s&a reeked like fish. |

| I have also been using both THE MM and THE Performance. I have a hard keeper and an easy keeper. On my last order I asked that the soy be taken out and they asked if I would like chia instead of the soy. I am going with the chia and my horses love the change. |

Don't change what you are doing. Be sure teeth are up to date. You are not missing amino acids with this diet. Win |

You can wet your feed and they should eat it... Ihave also put a scoop in a cup, add a little bit of water or THElectrolyte gel and make a paste. |

Location: Dearing, GA | I'm using Ukele TriAmino on my mare, and I've been super happy with the results. She shed out to a very healthy coat (finally) and started sweating better. Added a little life back to her. I couldn't get her to eat THE regularly. I sprinkle her TriAmino over her grain (or in your case, RG) and just wet it a little so it sticks. She usually licks it all up. |

| I have been feeding THE Performance and MM for a number of years. I have one horse that is an easy keeper and the other is a hard keeper (this one is 33 years old). I inquired of THE a few months ago about the soy and wanted it removed and they did but they also asked if I wanted to substitute Chia seeds for the soy. I said yes that I would try it to see if horses like it better and they do. |

Location: Illinois | Not sure why this was bumped up recently, but wanted to chime in that I'm 30 days into MVP's new Amino15x and holy hell is it blowing me away. I'm bringing my mare back from KS surgery in Feb and while she was already building muscle in new places, this has totally changed the game for her. Way less sore the day after I push her a step farther, and she was doing a lot of one step forward two steps back during the riding phase. She seems so much more comfortable and she's gotten even shinier. She's bulked up a lot and I haven't changed her feed other than the amino15x. I would highly recommend |
