Anyone have any luck feeding a ration balancing horse feed like Purina Enrich Plus Ration Balancing Horse feed?  Did you feed anything else besides hay?

I feed the Purina ration balancer. My horse gets a 1/2 pound of ration balancer, an 8oz cup (it was a sour cream container) of alfalfa pellets and free choice hay and access to grass (not enough to sustain them, more like "busy" grass).  She looks great and maybe a little too fleshy lol

I have been feeding Purina Enrich Ration Balancer for several years. IMHO, it's terrific! My easy-keeper mare receives 1 lb. a day split in two feedings. She has 24/7 pasture access. Fat and shiny.  My gelding receives 2 lbs. a day split in two feedings and also has 24/7 pasture access.  During winter months, they each receive 15 - 20 pounds of hay a day in addition to having pasture access.  It's a wonderful option for those of us that are not riding and working horses hard and prefer a forage-based feeding program.

We have two of our performance horses on it (Purina Enrich Plus). They get a pound a day, split into two feeding, with a 1 1/2 cups of Outlast,  and a cup of ground flax. Each horse gets about 24-25lbs of hay per day (Orchard/Timothy/Brome/June Grass mix). In the winter when its really cold they'll also get about a flake of alfalfa at the evening feeding.
