That's kind of a rude comment. My good mare ( named hot sauce for a reason) won 60k as a cutter and 20-30k as a barrel horse. All on regumate. Her heats were so painful she would literally rub the fence and scream. Regumate has been a life saver for her. And no, it does NOT take the fire out in the least.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. I have no idea what the drug she was asking about was. Regumate I know of. I've used it & it's great. Sorry I ruffled feathers. Didn't mean to.

No it doesn't.   It just keeps them

from cycling.  For mares who have hard cycles, it makes them more

comfortable
