| I lived in Saudi Arabia. I don't know of anything they would be feeding hay to. All food is imported so no feed lots. There is nothing but sand BUT that sand would grow anything if you put water on it. All the drinking water comes from a desalination plant. The camels wander around town loose. |

| As an Arizona resident/horse person. I can tell you it's hurting those of us who have to buy our hay. But more importantly, it's killing our water supply. Add that this huge influx of California refugees escaping their crap politics and I don't recognize this state anymore. The traffic in Tucson and Phoenix is madness. The homes are popping up everywhere even over land that was once protected. Make it stop. |

Guess whose resources they're absorbing compliments of U.S. taxpayers. Everything we pay out the nose for, they get free of charge. |

Location: Fort Worth / Springtown | That is interesting. it was at least 10 years ago that a hay company in TX told me it's getting harder and harder to purchase alfalfa, because of the Saudi's buying it all up - it was so hard to compete wiith their "purchasing power" -- also interesting is that they don't buy G M O hay. Haven't heard of this though...growing their own? |
