I typically don't sell many horses, however I do have one that is a good confidence builder that deserves to be used while my 2024 futurity colts are on the trailer. What do you expect when looking at sale ads? Dos and donts?

This is a 2/3D horse. Suitable for youth or adult wanting to go and enjoy it.

I like to see videos of the horse in competition and I really like videos in both indoor and outdoor arenas.  I know that isn't always possible.

Good, clear recent pictures of the horse untacked and standing square. Also, recent videos of the horse riding around and competing. I like to see results as well. Please don't post a picture of the horse wet, standing funky, or in mud lol That is my pet peeve lol Please put a price in the ad and a good description. Good luck!

I want to see recent competition videos and perferably stats. (those are easy to get, most associations post results on FB)

Recent videos of the horse regular riding.. walk, trot, lope.. i want to see how the horse moves not just how it goes around cans.

Good confirmation pictures.

Care history, vet records and/or xrays, however I think alot of people are not willing to supply this info.

All the necessary info like location, price (or at least a range), height, age saves everyone time and rules out lots of questions.. for example, why bother asking any questions if the horse is farther away then you are willing to go or if it is over your price range.

What RunfastNTurn said, along with videos that are close up enough to see the horse's face markings.  A lot of people post videos, but they are taken from behind the end of the pen you can't watch the riders hands, or what kind of bit the horse is competed in.

I like videos taken from behind the first barrel, you can see the entrance and exit from it and the second barrel.
