I tend to run in rims, and was going to try these, hoping to achieve good traction, and maybe less torque, especially on the hinds. Any insight from people that have used them?

I have used these shoes since they came out 6 years ago . Love them . Definitely give them traction & keeps them from slipping / falling . I feel like I inject less often using these shoes. If you look closely at some photos of Stevi Hillman & sandi you will see she has had safe grips on all year ! Kassie Mowry also uses them . Epic guy wore them for years . Photos always give away the secrets lol
