| Anyone have any thoughts on this vitamin supplement? This horse is not getting any grain but I'm looking for an additional vitamin supplement. Good, bad, what is missing. Thanks.

| I have had two of the top vets in the South tell me nothing is better than Platinum Performance. I have fed it for years. My broodmare is on it now and the vet that i use now says she does not need anything else. If you watch their advertisemnt that Haley Kinsel does you will jump on the wagon too. Lisa Lockhart feeds it too. I just like the stuff |

The supplement category is full fo products that do not provide what they say that they do. This category is very poorly regulated, so many companies take advantage of that by not blending up to what they guarantee on the label. Because of this, I am very cautious about what we recommend be fed with Renew Gold products when customers ask us for our opinion. There are some good ones out there, and Platinum is one of the few that actually puts what they claim in the formulation. The complaint that Platinum is expensive is offset by the fact that there is no cheap way to make a product that is formulated to a high quality level. Kind of like hay, If you want the best hay it is expensive. If you will settle for hay that has already been through the horse, that can be had somewhat cheaper. Seems like everyone should have to put what they claim in the analysis guarantee, but that is just not the case. Many are ripoffs. |

I love Lixotinic vitimin-iron supplement
That's some steroid-enhanced, caffeine added, red dye #40 high energy stuff. It turned my brown gelding into a chestnut mare. |

| A friend gave me a big jug of Lixotinic because it made her horses nuts. I was afraid to use the stuff. |

| Platinum is expensive to purchase but lasts forever. I bought the 25 pound size for my broodmare. She gets a scoop a day. There is still a little left. (Posted September 26 , so 5 months). I started feeding it end of April. I want my babie to get here and be big, fat healthy babies. The thing that makes it is shipping. You can do auto ship or buy from a vet that carries it to cut down on costs. |

The first I used it, it was recommended by vet for my horse that had been anemic. I have used it on several horses since with no problems of them becoming like yours. |
