I am upgrading trailers. 18ft on the floor weekender to a 29 ft on the floor full LQ. It is a 3H with a 12 shortwall and 6ft slide.
It looks huge but it is what I thought I wanted. Checks every single box I have but I wonder if I will get used to a trailer that big? Maybe it isn't even that big - it's just a lot bigger than I haul now.
What do you all think ?
I went from a small 3-horse slant GN (no LQ) to a 5-horse slant with rear tack and 11-foot LQ. It does feel a lot bigger when I haul with that one, but I have gotten used to it. It is 43 feet long, total length. With that said, I do still have my smaller trailer for the "run around" things (vet, farrier, local races, etc) so I am not pulling my big trailer around all the time, if that makes a difference. It certainly felt big and was intimidating early on but now I've gotten more used to it. You get used to what you get used to! |
