| Book: Beating Muscle Injuries For Horses. We finally have a few of Jack Meagher's book in stock. The pubisher did a special printing for our company. I doubt there will be anymore after these are sold. It's an amazing book, detailing 25 muscle stress points with clear diagrams and a detailed explanation how to do the treatment to prevent muscle injuries. It also shows muscle actions--if a horse cannot take the lead--here's the muscle in question and how to treat it. I use Jack's techniques as much as I use chiropractic. | THIS just made my day. I bought the book years ago at the recommendation of a chiro teaching a class and it is amazing and easy to understand. Very informative and helpful. I have referred to it sooooo many times and helped horses. I was looking for my book just a few days ago and have misplaced it. I rarely get on BHW anymore so I was so surprised to get on here and BAM there is this post. THANK YOU for posting about this. Order placed.

| We still have a few copies of Beating Muscle Injuries For Horses left. As far as I know, we are now the only company to carry these books. There could be other companies, but I'm not aware of them. It's an amazing book with fabulous, detailed diagrams of the major muscles, locations, and muscle actions. The muscle action tells you what the muscle does--like abducting the hind leg, bending the neck, etc. If your horse has difficulty with these actions, you'll know where to look plus how to do Jack Meagher's muscle technique to help prevent injuries. It's always easier to prevent injuries then treat them. Jack teaches a lot off practical techniques an eventer can do to help their horse.
